Original recordings of the Grateful Dead in performance have been processed using Plunderphonic techniques. Grayfolded was originally released as a first single disc only available by mailorder.

Anyone remember Grayfolded? What a sonic journey. The second disc contains a moment of overwhelming sound, which is the entirety of the first disc compressed into a single "ungodly whoosh." There’s also the “Garcia choir” on the first verse, Jerry’s voice from across the decades synced up for the lyrics.
