The first fruits of her Hollywood and New York recording sessions with Jack Nitzsche and Quincy Jones were found on the album from those dates, originally titled "Lesley Gore Sings for Girls in Love," but re-titled "My Town, My Guy and Me," when the single of the same name leapt into the top 40.
