Focus Highlights. The Master of Theological Studies (MTS) is a two-year, 49 credit hour foundational program. Of the required hours, 9-10 are reserved for electives so that students can focus on what is most important to their ministry preparation. The MTS is available at all Gateway Seminary campuses and online.
Originally from Australia, he studied urban planning before going into missions, spending over 20 years in England in urban missions, evangelism, discipleship and mission leadership. He has taught and preached in churches, conferences and seminaries in many nations. He taught New Testament at Southwestern Seminary before coming to Gateway in 2016.
Gateway's Th.M. is designed for flexibility - it requires 24 credit hours of coursework and only one in-person seminar week per semester. The Th.M. has emphases in biblical studies and theological studies and is available in a thesis and non-thesis format. The most important element of the program is our faculty.

Stewart as vice president of academic services and professor of New Testament studies and approved a 2021-22 budget of $12,275,000 at their April 19-20 meeting. Trustees joined the meeting remotely and in person at a hotel in Dallas.
