Ratko Mladić (12. mart 1943) srpski je ratni zločinac i bivši zapovjednik i general snaga Vojske Republike Srpske u periodu 1992. do 1995. godine. [1] [2] [3] Međunarodni krivični sud za bivšu Jugoslaviju prvostepenom presudom 24. novembra 2017. osudio ga je na kaznu doživotnog zatvora zbog genocida, počinjenih ratnih zločina i zločina protiv čovječnosti. [4]
Ratko Mladić (* 12. marec 1943, Kalinovik, Bosna) je bývalý vrchný veliteľ síl bosnianskych Srbov počas občianskej vojny v rokoch 1992 – 1995. V súčasnosti je Mladić obvinený z vojnových zločinov , vrátane masakrov v Sarajeve a Srebrenici .
Šolanje. Ratko Mladić se je rodil očetu Neđu in mami Stani (dekliški priimek Lalatović) v vasi Božanovići v Bosni in Hercegovini. Kot dojenček je zbolel za tifusom skupaj z materjo in očetom, nahranili in pozdravili so ga italijanski vojaki. Leta 1945 je njegov oče kot partizan padel v boju z ustaši v bližini Ivan sedla.
