  7. 19. Jan. 2024 · BETWEEN THE TEMPLES occasionally has its funny moments but I really couldn’t stand how it was shot & edited. Jason Schwartzman is wonderful here perfectly balancing awkward comedy with grief-stricken drama. The climatic dinner scene is almost worth the price of admission. Overlong, sometimes grating but then Carol Kane or Dolly de Leon would come along and pull me back in.
