Untitled Film Stills. Untitled Film Stills consists of seventy 8×10-inch black-and-white pictures: sixty-nine taken from 1977 to 1980, plus one added later to the series. In each photograph, the artist posed as a different character inspired by female roles in films from the 1950s and 60s; film noir and B-movies, but also Italian Neorealism and the French New Wave.
