A little over a year ago, I began researching my ancestors and our Ukrainian heritage. This journey began the process of writing the narrataive feature film, THEY WHO SURROUND US. I remember bringing images of my ancestors when they first arrived from Ukraine into a Creative Dream Workshop stating, ‘I want to give my ancestors their voice.’
