BIO. Eric, who has a passion for the west has lived in the Central mountains of Colorado since 1999. He comes from a family of artists dating back to his paternal great grandfather, Heinrich Von Schmidt, who was a landscape painter. Eric’s father is an industrial designer who specialized in auto design. Eric was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1953.

As a singer and guitarist, he was considered to be the leading Cambridge specialist in country blues at the time.
