Patrick Blackett, Juli 1963 in Kopenhagen 1953 wurde Blackett zum Dekan der physikalischen Fakultät des Imperial College of Science and Technology in London ernannt. Married Costanza Bayon, daughter of Eugenio Bayon, in 1924. Died on 13 July 1974 at age 76. Educated in 1910 at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.
