The late Alan Barton's son, Dean, took Alan's place in the band, but original member Steve Scholey declined to attend. In 2000, Black Lace became the first band to play at the Millennium Dome . 2001 brought a totally different line up style, as Hopcraft was replaced by female vocalist/dancer Camille Wagstaff, and the single "Follow the Leader" was released before they disbanded.
