30. Dez. 2016 · Lou Andreas-Salomé, 1877. When she was 21, her mother took her to Rome where she met Paul Rée, an author and compulsive gambler with whom she proposed living in an academic commune. After a few months, they became partners. Friedrich Nietzsche joined the duo on 13 May 1882.
About the Author Lou Salome (1861-1937) was the author of Ibsen's Heroines, Freud, Rilke, and other books.Siegfried Mandel was a professor of philosophy at the University of Colorado and the author of Nietzsche and the Jews: Exaltation and Denigration, Rainer Maria Rilker: The Poetic Instinct, and other books.

What I posit here is twofold: 1) there is no contemporary evidence to support the marriage proposals by Nietzsche towards Salomé. The only sources start after Nietzsche’s death in Salomé’s letters; which, if we follow the letters between Nietzsche and Salomé, or from Nietzsche to his friends, can easily be discredited.
