27. Apr. 2021 · In 1980, Abd. Mansoor Ibrahim, follow in the footsteps of Loo Foh Sang and Long Thien Shih to pursue his printmaking knowledge at the Ecole Nationale superieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris. Bahaman Hashim was educated formally in printmaking at the Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois, majoring in serigraph in 1985 to 1988.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, printmaking was seen as an acceptable way for women of noble birth to engage with the arts.
