8. Apr. 2023 · For future reference of anyone else who came to this with the same issue, it's not Messenger doing it. It's Windows. Go to Settings > Sound > More Sound Settings. Click the "Communications" tab. Set 'When Windows detects communication activity' to 'Do Nothing.'.
26. Mai 2017 · Hi Marian, The support for Windows Live Messenger has been discontinued by Microsoft. This program stopped working last March 15, 2013. 11. Apr. 2020 · I understand that you are interested in downloading Facebook Messenger for kids. Sadly, the app is not yet available in the Microsoft Store. Facebook Messenger for kids is only currently available for Android and iOS devices. However, you can use the regular Facebook Messenger for Windows 10 and is available the Microsoft Store.
10. Mai 2024 · This option is only available in Windows 11 Pro, Enterprise, or Education editions. Press Windows Key + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Enter to open the Group Policy Editor. Navigate to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Logon. Look for any policies related to application startup and ensure Messenger is not included.
