Łowicz [ˈwɔvʲit͡ʂ] is a town in central Poland with 27,436 inhabitants (2021). It is situated in the Łódź Voivodeship. Together with a nearby station of Bednary, Łowicz is a major rail junction of central Poland, where the line from Warsaw splits into two directions—towards Poznań, and Łódź.
Lowicz is a small town conveniently located on the gentle banks of the Bzura River in the very center of the Masovia region. It is known for its triangular Market Square – the only one in Poland and one of only three in Europe.

27. Mai 2019 · Łowicz is a slightly sleepy town at river Bzura. Located at the edge of Bolimowski Landscape Park and closeness to Warsaw should make this place a popular weekend destination. But it is not. It does not mean that you will be bored there if you decide for a one day trip.
