Okt. 2023 · For The Association's first album on Warner Bros. the label paired the sextet with producer Bones Howe (The Mamas & the Papas, The Turtles) hoping to steer the band in a more commercial direction. The move paid off spectacularly - 1967's INSIGHT OUT included No. 1 hit “Windy” and No. 2 hit “Never My Love,” both of which would rank among the most played singles on the radio that year.

Juli 2017 · INSIGHT OUT was the beginning of The Association's stint with Warner Bros. after two longplayers for Valiant, and it was a winning combination of group and label - the album reached the Top Ten and quickly went gold. It was also the sextet's first album with producer Bones Howe (who had helmed hits for The Turtles) and the first to lean on the session aces of The Wrecking Crew.
