University College Absalon is a regional institution, covering the geographical area of Region Zealand. University College Absalon has approximately 8,500 students and 650 employees at seven campuses in the cities of Roskilde, Slagelse, Næstved, Holbæk, Kalundborg, Vordingborg and Nykøbing Falster. All campuses are easily reached from Copenhagen, only from 30 minutes to 1 ½ hour by train.
Location. University College Absalon. J. Hagemann-Petersens Allé 4, 4400 Kalundborg. The city of Kalundborg is in a wonderful location. If you’re an adventurous explorer, you can easily reach other Danish towns and cities from Kalundborg. Denmark’s capital city Copenhagen is only 90 minutes away by car and train.

Fra 1. august 2017 ændrer University College Sjælland navn til Professionshøjskolen Absalon. Det nye navn skal - sammen med en ny visuel identitet - bidrage til at skabe en skarpere profil og større genkendelighed. Navnet er inspireret af biskop Absalon, der har en helt central rolle i den danske og sjællandske historie.
Professionshøjskolen Absalon er en dansk professionshøjskole, etableret i 2007. Indtil 1. august 2017 hed den University College Sjælland (UCSJ). [1] I dag består Professionshøjskolen Absalon af ca. 800 medarbejdere, 9.000 fuldtidsstuderende og 3.500 i efter- og videreuddannelse.
