Duane Eddy and His 'Twangy' Guitar originally recorded Rebel-'Rouser written by Duane Eddy and Lee Hazlewood and Duane Eddy and His 'Twangy' Guitar released it on the single Rebel-'Rouser in 1958. It was also covered by Bill McElhiney and His Orchestra, The Golden Stars de Johnny Hallyday, Joe Weed, Andy Lee Lang & The Spirit and other artists.
It appears that when they recorded these songs, they were attempting to please everyone by choosing old classics with the "hip" twangy guitar sound.
