Johanna «Hanni» Wenzel, verheiratete Johanna Weirather, ist eine ehemalige liechtensteinische Skirennläuferin. Sie ist die bislang einzige Olympiasiegerin ihres Landes.
Hannelore (Hanni) Wenzel (born 14 December 1956) is a retired Liechtensteiner alpine ski racer. Weirather is a former Olympic, World Cup, and world champion. She won Liechtenstein's first-ever Olympic medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, and its first two Olympic gold medals four years later in Lake Placid, New York.
Hanni Weirather-Wenzel ist sportlich, aktiv und zielstrebig. Die Mutter dreier Kinder blickt auf eine erfolgreiche Karriere im Skirennlauf zurück. Die Liechtensteinerin wurde u.a. 1974 Weltmeisterin in St.Moritz, 1980 Doppel-Olympiasiegerin in Lake Placid und gewann zwei Mal den Gesamtweltcup.

31. Aug. 2018 · Wenzel won her first World Cup race on December 20th, 1973, sealing first place in a Giant Slalom at Zell am See. This victory set the stage for her first great triumph. A year later Wenzel went to win the gold medal in the Slalom at the FIS World Championships in St. Moritz.
Of all the countries to have competed at the Olympic Games, Liechtenstein is the smallest nation - in terms of population - to have produced an Olympic champion. Hanni Wenzel was the hero of the day, winning gold in Alpine skiing at Lake Placid 1980.
With a total of four medals, Hanni Wenzel trails only Vreni Schneider and Katja Seizinger as the most successful of all women Olympic Alpine skiers. After winning a bronze medal in the slalom in 1976, Wenzel won gold in the slalom and giant slalom and a silver in the giant slalom in 1980.
