Vor 5 Tagen · I mentioned her cover version of the Randy Newman song, “I’ve Been Wrong Before” (from her second UK LP, “Ev'rything's Coming Up Dusty”) which had also been recorded by Cilla Black in 1965. She nodded, maybe a sign of recognition that we both might have found some validity in the title and lyrics of the song.

3. Mai 2024 · To capitalize on the success, Dusty Springfield put out her first solo album in eight years. It was mostly produced by the Pet Shop Boys and half of the songs were written by them as well! It originally came out only in the UK (eventually reaching the United States 7 years later!) so it was unfortunately ignored here. The album was called

I have the CD version of this and also have these tracks split up on two different vinyl releases [the 2 LP release of 'Dusty in Memphis' by Run Out Groove and the 2 LP of 'See All Her Faces' by Universal]. However, I missed out on the vinyl version of this the first time around. I may have to get it.
