Christ's College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college includes the Master, the Fellows of the College, and about 450 undergraduate and 250 graduate students. [7] The college was founded by William Byngham in 1437 as God's House .

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und man konnte sich sein original English Breakfast zusammenstellen. Auch die Lage des Christ College ist ideal: Es liegt fünf Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, in 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am King's College. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und ich würde das Christ's College jedem weiterempfehlen.
Christ’s College was modelled on the public schools of England, which many of the men in the Canterbury Association had themselves attended. The emphasis was on a classical education, which included Greek and Latin, Modern Languages, Mathematics, English, History and Geography.
Christ's College was first established as God's House in 1437 by William Byngham, a London parish priest, for training grammar school masters. Shortly after receiving its Royal Licence from Henry VI in 1446, God's House was forced to move from its original site as this was needed for the King's new project (what was to become King's College ).
