  4. Course information. Duration. Two years, full-time. Course start. October. Award. Master of Arts in Drama and Movement Therapy (180 credits) The MA Drama and Movement Therapy course at Central offers a particular pedagogic approach to learning the craft of drama therapy.

  5. Central's History. A short note by Professor Simon Shepherd, Professor Emeritus of Theatre. Elsie Fogerty founded The Central School of Speech Training and Dramatic Art at the Royal Albert Hall in 1906. Fogerty was a specialist in speech training. She also had a firm belief in the social importance of education.

As a Stage Management and Technical Theatre student, you will learn hands-on skills and techniques that will prepare you for a career in theatre production; whether you are aspiring to become a multi-skilled theatre maker, or build specialist abilities such as rigging, prop sourcing, technical drawing or show-calling.
