Asma al-Assad. Asma al-Assad ( arabisch أسماء الأسد, DMG Asmāʾ al-Asad ), geborene Asma Fawwaz al-Achras / أسماء فواز الأخرس / Asmāʾ Fauwāz al-Aḫras (* 11. Fawaz Akhras is the Medical Director of Cardiac and Medical Health Services and Consultant Cardiologist at the Cromwell Hospital in London. He completed his postgraduate studies at King College Hospital-University of London, where he also obtained his higher degree in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians in both General Medicine and Cardiology.
