She got married to her first husband, American actor Stanley Kramer, in 1945, but unfortunately, the marriage crashed the same year it took off. She later moved on with Charles Curland, who was an insurance executive. The pair had two kids, and their marriage lasted over 5 decades, ending in 2012 after Curland died.
