Courage is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Paula Cole. It marks her return to the music scene after nearly a decade-long hiatus. Paula Dorothy Cole (born April 5, 1968) is an American singer-songwriter and producer. [2] After gaining attention for her performances as a vocalist on Peter Gabriel 's 1993–1994 Secret World Tour, she released her first album, Harbinger, which suffered from a lack of promotion when the label, Imago Records, folded shortly after its release.
Paula Cole has created a very beautiful and calm record in which her vocals are the centrepiece. After her more angst driven and fierce work in the 90's, "Courage" shows maturity and is ultimately refreshing as it allows the listener to take a deep breath and just be. Very beautiful.
