29. Juni 2021 · According to Smokey's autobiography, Smokey: Inside My Life, The Miracles' final concert was videotaped in movie form, but was never publicly released. However, 1957-1972 was released on CD originally in 1990, and re-released again in 2004 along with The Miracles' 1969 "Live" album in the 2004 Motown/Hip-O Select release Smokey Robinson and The Miracles: The Live Collection.

Tarplin was credited on 1957–1972, and did appear with the group on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1968. Smokey Robinson & the Miracles LIVE! was released in 2004 on a Motown two-CD set together with the group's final live album, 1957–1972, through Hip-O Select, under the name Smokey Robinson & the Miracles: The Live Collection.
After this, the group's name changed to Smokey Robinson & the Miracles and they scored two more number one songs: "I Second That Emotion" (1967) and "The Tears of a Clown" (1970).
