So, having said all that, it hurts me to have to say that DUSTY is the worst Eaglesmith CD I've ever heard, and I have no idea what Fred was thinking when he made it.

    I've seen Fred perform solo analog and with his country rock band and I love all that stuff. I get it, and this isn't that. But Dusty is on the merits the best album Fred Eaglesmith has recorded. This is still all Fred, but channeled through drum machines and production and strange as it may be, it really really works.
