Biography. Tazewell was born December 6, 1830 in Charles City County. He is the son of John Tyler and Letitia Tyler. He passed away in 1874. Tazewell Tyler became a doctor and served as a surgeon in the Confederate Army. He married Nannie Bridges (b. 1832) in 1857 and they had 2 children, James (1858 - ) and Martha (1860 - 1943). [1]
