27. Juli 2006 · In 1959, Ronnie Hawkins disappeared into Canada, and was rarely seen again south of the 49th parallel. Trapped in a wonderful time-warp, he reemerged in 1972 on Monument Records. His role as the man who put the Band together was now recognized, and rockabilly was making a comeback, so the time seemed ripe for his return.

Ronald "Ronnie" Hawkins ( Huntsville (Arkansas), 10 januari 1935 – Peterborough (Ontario), 29 mei 2022) was een Amerikaanse rock and roll -artiest.
