Rob Stringer started his career at CBS Records in 1985, before being named MD of Epic in 1992 and then stepping up to Chairman of Sony Music UK in 2001. With a strong reputation as an artist-friendly major label executive, Stringer has also worked closely with acts across his career such as David Bowie, George Michael, Sade, The Manic Street Preachers, The Chainsmokers and Daft Punk.
