These include Higher National Certificates (HNCs), Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), Foundation degrees, Honours degrees (BA Hons) and Teacher Training qualifications. These qualifications will build your academic and practical knowledge so that you are able to progress to a career or to further study.

A Levels allow you to develop a broad range of academic skills and knowledge. Usually, you will have an exam at the end of two years. Some subjects include coursework. You can choose a combination of three courses, one of these can include a ‘single BTEC’ or a Level 3 Certificate. These are vocational courses, equivalent to one A Level.
