Entry to BA (Hons) musical theatre requires the following: 18+ by the 31st August in the year of entry (or 17+ for Scottish students). Level 2 English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 or above or recognised equivalent qualifications. Legal right to reside/study in the UK for the full period of the programme.
Charles Hawtrey had asked Italia Conti to train the children to act in Where the Rainbow Ends. Doing this led to Conti's founding of her drama school, the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. In 1925, the academy moved to Lamb's Conduit Street. Bombing in May 1940 destroyed the building, and Conti faced a serious financial loss.
