The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art is an independent drama school based in South Kensington. The academy originated in Paris in 1906 as an opera training school. Since 1945, it has specialised in the training of actors, whilst retaining a strong emphasis on the development of singing skills.
The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art was one of the leading drama schools in Britain. In 2006, it merged with the Central School of Speech and Drama.
