  2. On Wednesday 8th May, 25 students represented Imberhorne at the Mid Sussex trials at K2, in Crawley. It was a great day of athletics (albeit a little hot for the distance runners!) for both Junior and Inter teams, resulting in Imberhorne finishing in 3rd place overall out of 14 schools, securing 130 points.

  4. Eco club members at Lower School have had a wonderful time helping to look after our new raised beds. They are growing a variety of plants including tomatoes which everyone is looking forward to eating.

  6. Imberhorne scored four out of five in every category, ranking it as East Grinstead's top school. It was ranked 9th overall in West Sussex, and 773rd in the country. Imberhorne achieved a higher rank than Sackville School, the other secondary school in the town, who were ranked as the 29th best school in West Sussex and 1564 in the country.

  7. Imberhorne County Secondary School opened in 1959 with five hundred of Sackville’s former eight hundred pupils! The first headteacher was Mr. B.M. McDermott, who remained head until Christmas 1962. The second headteacher, Mr. K. R. Scott moved from Nechells Secondary School in Birmingham and started on 25th April 1963.
