Zwei unglaubliche Konzerte Gov’t Mule feiern ihr 25. Bandjubiläum. Dafür mieteten sich die Bluesrockikonen am 27. und 28. April des letzten Jahres im berühmten Capitol Theatre in Port Chester im US-Bundesstaat New York ein, wo sie zwei mitreißende, aber völlig unterschiedliche Konzerte spielten.

Von Gov't Mule besitze ich alle Alben und sah die Band auch zweimal live, deren Mitschnitte ich ebenfalls besitze. Aber was die Band auf "Bring on the music" abliefert, ist besser als alles, was ich bisher von GM an Live-Alben gehört habe. Der erdige Blues- bis Hardrock wird mit einer Spielfreude serviert, wie man ihn schon gewohnt ist; überraschend war für mich dann das kompakte Spiel ...
