Oja Kodar és una actriu, guionista i directora de cinema croata, coneguda per ser parella d'Orson Welles durant els darrers anys de la seva vida. Personal [ modifica ] Nascuda com a Olga Palinkaš a Zagreb de pare hongarès i mare croata, Kodar va ser sòcia i amant d'Orson Welles durant els últims anys de la seva vida.
Oja Kodar was born Olga Palinkaš, in 1941, in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, to a Hungarian father and a Croatian mother. In 1966, Kodar and her lover, American filmmaker Orson Welles, began shooting 'The Deep' on the Yugoslav coast. He had cast her in one of the lead roles in the project.

Ubrzo nakon što su započeli svoju vezu, Vels joj je dao umetničko ime Oja Kodar, koje je nastalo kao mešavina imena „Oja", koje mu je dala sestra Nina, i hrvatskog izraza „ko-dar" (kao poklon). Italijanska štampa objavila je vest o Velsovoj aferi sa Ojom u martu 1970. godine, iako to Mori nije saznala sve do 1984. godine.
