The Country Girl is only remembered for Grace Kelly's controversial Best Actress Oscar win over Judy Garland's performance in A Star is Born and for Kelly's dialogue from this film being sampled in the MIKA song named after her. Without the comparison with a more highly lauded picture with a near identical premise, I could take this on its own merits.
