Shockingly horrible concept for a film that tricks you into sympathizing with a pedophile while also convincing you that he is "really a good guy." The whole film hinges around a sick belief that people with OCD can't help themselves from giving into the urge to harass children online.
To film Ash, the filmmakers acted against the recommendations of authorities in order to journey straight into the heart of the still raging forest fires in B.C. during 2016. The result of this decision are seriously stunning visuals which the Director uses to bring the human drama to the surface.
