I was never the biggest Bonanza fan - I liked the character actors that made up the nameless villains, but was never a fan of the series' leads. With the Next Generation - a tv movie designed as a pilot - Greene had already passed away and Landon sent his son instead, so this shouldn't influence how hard I found it to sit through The Next Generation.
