Death on a Fourposter is a decent early giallo, though it's bloodless and has a very low body count.While Mario Bava's more stylish film The Girl Who Knew Too Much is regarded as the first giallo, Death on a Fourposter was actually released two months earlier, perhaps priming audiences for youthful murder mysteries yet to come.

Death on the Fourposter is a 1964 giallo film which follows a party of young people who gather in a mansion for an occult experiment in which deaths are predicted by a psychic. Soon it turns into more than an experiment. A very early entry in the giallo subgenre, unfortunately Death on the Fourposter is a talky bore.
26. März 2018 · Death on the Four Poster (1963) Standard whodunit in a castle , more murder mystery than horror with a fantasty touch where Barrymore predicts the nights events. You probably won't guess who the killer is but it won't matter, pretty dull. Sexy girls keep it interesting but why does the best looking one always die first.

The group are joined by two friends: Serena and a young American medium, Anthony. During a seance Anthony predicts a tragedy, then leaves the castle, shocked by his own visions. An hour later, Serena is found strangled to death in bed. The others become gradually more and more diffident and suspicious, especially when another girl is murdered...
