2013. The Estate of Buddy Miles and associated Literary Trust is deeply saddened by the passing of Sherrilae Chambers Miles the widow of the late Buddy Miles'. Sherrilae passed away shortly after midnight Monday January 14, 2013 from pneumonia and lingering heart complications that had progressively worsened over the past two years.

Buddy Miles (narozen jako George Miles 5. září 1947 – 26. února 2008) byl americký rockový a funkový bubeník a zpěvák, který se proslavil v sestavě Jimiho Hendrixe "Band of Gypsys", působící na rockové scéně od roku 1969 do Hendrixovy smrti v roce 1970. Miles zemřel ve věku 60 let.
The Electric Flag was an American blues / rock / soul band from Chicago, led by guitarist Mike Bloomfield, keyboardist Barry Goldberg and drummer Buddy Miles, and featuring other musicians such as vocalist Nick Gravenites and bassist Harvey Brooks. Bloomfield formed the Electric Flag in 1967, [1] following his stint with the Butterfield Blues Band.
