I would've done you a service by mentioning Elton John's involvement in Rock the Nations immediately, as opposed to a barely-relevant Aesop's Fable. That probably would've gotten the point across slightly faster. Rock the Nations received mixed reviews from critics. Eduardo Rivadavia of AllMusic gave the album two stars out of five and said in his review for the band's previous album Innocence Is No Excuse that "Saxon's internal chemistry was significantly unbalanced by the subsequent departure of key songwriter [Steve] Dawson -- a loss from which they would take years to fully recover."

Losimba Rock The Nations Was The First Saxon album I got and is still, together with Strong Arm Of The Law and Solid Ball Of Rock, the one I listened to most often. Interestingly, there is not much of a difference in my liking of those three albums, so they all get the same ratings.
