Texte intégral. BIOGRAPHIE DE PIERO SRAFFA. Piero Sraffa est né le 5 août 1898 à Turin. Il fit ses études au lycée d'Azeglio, puis à l'Université de Turin où il obtint sa licence en droit en 1919. Il fit alors sa thèse sous la direction d'Einaudi sur la situation financière en Italie, thèse qu'il soutiendra en 1921.
Piero Sraffa était un intellectuel italien, qui a apporté d'importantes contributions à la théorie économique. Il a été invité par John Maynard Keynes à Cambridge. De là, il a apporté ses contributions majeures à la théorie classique de la valeur et à la théorie keynésienne. Piero Sraffa (1898-1983) est né à Turin, en Italie.
