Charlotte Colbert (born 1987) is a Franco-British film director and multi-media artist which the Evening Standard described as "a natural born magician." Her practice ranges from artistic installations which incorporate sculpture, photography and performative elements, to narrative feature-length films.
Charlotte Colbert de Croissy wurde am 26. Mai 1678 in Nimwegen geboren, wo ihr Vater Charles Colbert, marquis de Croissy damals bevollmächtigter Gesandter des Königs von Frankreich ( Ludwig XIV.) bei den Verhandlungen zum Frieden von Nimwegen war.
Charlotte Colbert is an award-winning filmmaker and multi-media artist. Her work has been shown at galleries, art fairs and institutions internationally, including the V&A, Montpellier Contemporain, Frieze & Art Basel.
