23. Juni 2024 · Edward Bouverie Pusey, Regius Professor of Hebrew at Oxford and joint leader of the Oxford Movement, was born at this house on 22 August 1800. South-west of the house is a Greek circular temple, erected about 1759 to the memory of Elizabeth Pusey, wife of William Brotherton, and containing in the centre a statue of the lady.
