June 4, 1967 London, England Paul McCartney and George Harrison attended a Jimi Hendrix show at the Saville Theatre. Hendrix opened his set by covering the title track from "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" which had just been released 3 days prior.

If Jimi had lived longer, he probably would’ve been very pleased to hear that musicians such as Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, David Bowie, and even Kanye West used his studio to create their own music.
