Beverly Hill Cop: Axel F gives Axel a daughter, but her mother remains a mystery – prompting questions that run through the film's story.
In this part, the focus is on Axel’s daughter, Jane, who is a defense attorney. She is representing a man who she believes has been falsely convicted of killing an undercover cop.
The traffic cop is played by Murphy’s daughter, Bria, one of his 10 kids. The other cop who later tases him is none other than his newly-minted son-in-law.
Axel’s arrest brings him into contact with his daughter’s ex-boyfriend, Beverly Hills police detective Bobby Abbott (played by a new face in the series, Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who later comes to the rescue after Axel and Jane are ambushed by a cartel kill squad.
Bria Murphy, Eddie Murphy's real-life daughter, plays one of these officers. It is a fun Murphy family in-joke that Bria's character arrests her father's character for causing chaos on the road.
