Mai 1959 in New York geborene Musiker treibt sich Ende der Siebziger in der Clubszene von New Jersey herum; seine ersten Bands mit Namen wie Quest, F-66, Vendetta und Harlette kennt heute kaum noch jemand. 1985 allerdings kann Gillen bei Rondinelli anheuern, der Band des zeitweiligen Rainbow-Schlagzeugers Bobbi Rondinelli.

It packs more of a wallop, it’s cleaner than it was originally, and I can hear parts I couldn’t before, like the bass seems more prominent to my ears on the title track. The CD version has the bonus track “Cloak & Dagger”, but it is not on the vinyl version.
