Nirvana was formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987, and featured drummer Dave Grohl for the majority of the band's career. They had previously gone through a succession of drummers, most notably Chad Channing, Dale Crover and Dan Peters.
I so wish there was a bleach re-record with Dave Grohl. Discussion. I think Chad Channing is a decent drummer and all but Dave Grohl is such a beast on the drums with perfect rhythm. I would just love to hear all those great songs redone, in a studio, with him. Wish they had done that.
