Ángel Sanz Briz (* 28. September 1910 in Saragossa; † 11. Juni 1980 in Rom) war ein spanischer Diplomat. Im Jahr 1944 rettete er über 5.000 ungarischen Juden das Leben, indem er ihnen spanische Pässe ausstellte. Zunächst gab er Pässe an jene, die sich als Sephardim ausgaben, später an alle, die anfragten.
Ángel Sanz-Briz (28 September 1910 – 11 June 1980) was a Spanish diplomat and humanitarian. Sanz - Briz is credited with saving more than 5,200 Jews in German-occupied Hungary from the Holocaust in the later stages of World War II. For his actions, Sanz-Briz has been referred to as "the Angel of Budapest" and the "Spanish Schindler".

On October 18, 1966, Yad Vashem recognized Angel Sanz-Briz as Righteous Among the Nations. Angel Sanz-Briz, (b. 1910) was appointed to the post of chargè d’affaires at the Spanish Legation in the summer of 1944.
