Donald Warren Iwerks ( / ˈaɪwɜːrks /; born 1929) is an American former Disney executive and co-founder of Iwerks Entertainment along with former Disney executive Stan Kinsey.
He is the son of the legendary animator Ub Iwerks (Walt Disney's original business partner and co-creator of Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit) and father of documentary film producer Leslie Iwerks.

For many years, Iwerks was Walt’s right-hand man, and, as such, he created innovative special effects devices that improved the scope of Disney films for decades. Apart from his inventions, he is perhaps most well known as being the first animator to bring Mickey Mouse to life.
